Affiliate Terms

Last updated: 2026-04-24

These terms govern participation in the Sigmate affiliate program. They supplement the Terms of Service and become binding when you first share an affiliate link or accept a commission payout.

1. Enrollment#

Every Sigmate user account is enrolled in the affiliate program by default at the time of first sign-in. You receive an affiliate slug which you can customize in the dashboard. No additional application, paperwork, or approval is required.

2. Commission structure#

  • 50%of your referred user's first full-month subscription (Starter, Pro, or Alpha).
  • 20% of every subsequent subscription payment from that user, for as long as they continue paying.
  • Trial exclusion: the $7 Starter trial is not commission-eligible and does not count as the "first purchase". When a referred user upgrades from the trial to Starter, Pro, or Alpha, that upgrade triggers the 50% first-purchase commission.
  • Commissions are paid in USDC on Solana. Amounts are denominated in base USDC units (6 decimals) on the dashboard; your payout reflects the on-chain transfer.
  • Commission rates may be changed for future sign-ups with at least 30 days' notice. Already-earned commissions and lifetime commissions from existing referees are honored at the rate in effect when the referral was attributed.

3. Attribution rules#

  • Attribution is created when a visitor clicks a URL containing your affiliate slug (?ref=<slug>) and then signs in to Sigmate with a wallet that has never signed in before.
  • Attribution is permanent and unique per referee: once a user is attributed to you, they remain yours for all future subscription payments they make.
  • A user who has previously signed in cannot be retroactively attributed. Existing Sigmate users clicking a referral link after they have signed in do not create an attribution.
  • Self-referrals are blocked. You cannot attribute your own account by clicking your own link.

4. Payout mechanics#

  • 7-day hold: every commission is locked for 7 days from the moment it is earned. During this window the commission is visible in your dashboard but not claimable.
  • Claim: once unlocked, you submit a claim from the dashboard. The claim batches all unlocked commissions into a single payout request.
  • Settlement: we typically settle claims within 48 hours. Once paid, the commission row records the Solana transaction signature, verifiable on any public explorer.
  • Payout destination: USDC is sent to the wallet you signed in with, unless you configure a separate payout wallet in your dashboard.

5. Prohibited conduct#

The following activities will result in forfeiture of unpaid commissions, clawback of already-paid commissions, and potential account termination:

  • Self-referral via alternate wallets: creating multiple wallet accounts and referring yourself across them, including funding alt wallets from a shared source to obscure the relationship.
  • Spam: unsolicited DMs, mass tagging, hijacking conversations, or posting your link repeatedly in channels without community consent.
  • Brand-name bidding: running paid ads or SEO campaigns that target the "Sigmate" brand name or close variants.
  • Impersonation: claiming to represent Sigmate officially, posing as support, or using slugs that impersonate the team.
  • Misleading claims: promising specific financial outcomes, fabricating PnL, or misrepresenting how the Service works.
  • Cookie stuffing or forced clicks: setting the referral cookie without a genuine user action.
  • Use of bots, traffic exchanges, or incentivized sign-up farms to inflate referral counts.

6. Reserved slugs#

A non-exhaustive set of slugs is reserved for Sigmate's own use (for example: admin, support, sigmate, docs, api). These cannot be claimed. Sigmate may reserve additional slugs in the future to prevent user confusion. Existing slug choices by affiliates are preserved when new reservations are added.

7. Review and clawback#

Sigmate reserves the right to review any commission or claim before settlement. Review may delay a payout beyond the stated 48-hour window when we have reasonable cause (high-volume claim, new affiliate with unusual conversion patterns, on-chain evidence of alt-wallet funding, etc.).

We may claw back commissions (i.e. refuse to pay, or deduct from future claims) when a referee's payment is reversed, disputed, or credited due to a Sigmate error, or when we identify fraud or prohibited conduct after the payout.

8. Taxes#

You are solely responsible for any tax reporting and payment obligations arising from affiliate commissions in your jurisdiction. Sigmate does not withhold taxes, does not issue 1099 / W-8BEN or equivalent forms by default, and cannot advise on your tax treatment. If your jurisdiction requires us to issue specific documentation, reach out via support.

9. Program changes#

Sigmate may modify, suspend, or terminate the affiliate program at any time. Material changes (commission rate changes that affect future earnings, hold-period changes, new prohibited-conduct categories) will be announced with at least 30 days' notice via this page and via any delivery channel you have configured. Non-material clarifications (typos, formatting) may be rolled out immediately.

10. Termination#

Sigmate may suspend or terminate your participation in the affiliate program at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination: existing unpaid commissions that were earned in good faith remain payable; future commissions stop accruing; pending claims may be held for review.

You may voluntarily stop participating at any time simply by not sharing your link. The affiliate profile remains attached to your account.

11. Contact#

Program questions or disputes: support tickets.
